The Riddle of Strider

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.

No es oro todo lo que reluce

No es oro todo lo que reluce,
ni toda la gente errante anda perdida;
a las raíces profundas no llega la escarcha,
el viejo vigoroso no se marchita.
De las cenizas subirá un fuego,
y una luz asomará en las sombras;
el descoronado será de nuevo rey,
forjarán otra vez la espada rota.
